03 Април 2004 - 16:28 Winter Rally - Lebanon Roger Feghali wins the first round

The Winter Rally, which is the first round of the Lebanese Rally Championship, was dominated by the Feghali family.

Roger Feghali won the rally in front of his brother Abdo Feghali and his cousin Ziad Feghali, all driving Group N Mitsubishi Lancers.

Roger Feghali increased his lead during the first leg of the event and then managed his race to maintain his advantage until the finish. His brother lost time in the first stage because of a loose bonnet and finished the rally 36 seconds behind Roger.

Nasser El Attiyah retired in stage 2 after going off the road. The Middle East Rally Champion will participate to the entire Lebanese championship and should be one of the most serious threat for the Feghali family.

The next round in the Lebanese Rally Championship is the Spring Rally, which will take place on 9 May 2004.
