14 May 2010 - 20:19 Austria Showcase "Tourism Infrastructure" forthcoming

The Austria Showcase "Tourism Infrastructure" will take place from May 26 - 27, 2010 in Sofia and in Pomorie at the Black Sea. In the course of this event, Austrian companies will present know-how, products and consulting services which can be considered for numerous tourism infrastructure projects in Bulgaria.

They are looking for contacts with:

- end user and cooperation partners in the HoReCa business as well as in the leisure, culture and entertainment industry
- decision makers from municipalities, business and education
- investors and developers of tourism projects, resorts und skiing regions
- operators of hotels and recreational facilities

The following topics are covered with companies on site and their presentations:

Products and know how:

- ropeways, gondolas, funiculars, chair and surface lifts
- swimming pools (construction and opt. operating as PPP)
- furnishing for the HoReCa business
- interior design and planning for the HoReCa industry
- technical solutions in the entertainment business, complete systems (planning, installing)

Services:

- development of tourism projects, resort planning, project management
- construction and management of ski resorts and whole year resorts
- conceptual design of exhibitions, attractions, shopping malls, event design
- tourism consulting, market research, study writing, marketing concepts
- training, instruction, train-the-trainer courses

In Sofia:

A roundtable with shortly presenting the Austrian and Bulgarian participants will take place on Wednesday May 26, 2010 at 3.30 p.m. in the Hotel Arena di Serdica , hall "Arena" (2-4 Budapeshta str., 1000 Sofia). Afterwards the Austrian firms will be available for personal meetings with Bulgarian companies and representatives of public authorities until 5.30 p.m.

In Pomorie at the Black Sea:

The Austrian companies will give short presentations about their offers on Thursday May 27, 2010 at 9 a.m. in the Grand Hotel Pomorie (5 Professor Stoyanov str., 8200 Pomorie). They will be available for parallel individual meetings with Bulgarian firms and public entities till 2 p.m.
